Along with Dr. Don W. Stacks, Dr. Michaelson is the co-author of "A Practitioner's Guide to Public Relations Research, Measurement, and Evaluation", published by Business Expert Press. This book is one of the leading university textbooks on communication measurement and was honored as an "outstanding textbook" in 2011 by the National Communication Association.
Dr. Michaelson was principal of David Michaelson & Company, LLC. He has also served as President and Chief Research Officer of Echo Research and Managing Director, Head of Research for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Managing Director at GCI and Director of Research at Burson-Marsteller.
